The
camera utilises the same mounting brackets as but offers lower wind resistance. Street Hawk is
available with the DVR option built in but utilises a larger
housing similar to .

The camera is supplied complete with all antennae and connecting
cables.

STREET
HAWK BATTERY TUBES

Whilst
Street Hawk can be powered directly from a 240v a.c. mains
supply, there are occasions when this is not available. The
illustrated battery tube means the camera can be deployed and
operated for between 12 and 96 hours, this ensures that Street
Hawk can be utilised virtually anywhere.

For long term deployments batteries can be interconnected to provide
extended running times.
STREET
HAWK CONTROLLER CASE

To
facilitate mobile monitoring, cameras can be controlled from a
briefcase style controller. This compact controller contains all
of the RF components required for video monitoring and camera telemetry. With the integral monitor, battery supply and
recording medium, it provides a completely mobile control centre
for up to eight deployed cameras.
STREET
HAWK CONTROL ROOM KEYBOARD

For
fixed control room applications or joint operation with mobile
units, a keyboard can be utilised. This gives the ability to
integrate rapid deployment cameras into existing control rooms
or any other permanent monitoring position.
The keyboard can control up to 8 Hawks and provides a spot
monitor output to view the camera under control.
VIDEO
RECEIVER / TELEMETRY TRANSMITTER

When
setting up a more permanent monitoring location it is advisable
to fit video and telemetry transmitters and receivers outside at
roof level. The units (right) are fully weatherproof and can be
installed to provide a more permanent control location.
The range for standard transmitters and receivers is 1 kilometre
line of site but can be increased by selecting high gain
antennae.
ON-BOARD
HARD DISC VIDEO RECORDER

The
last 24 hours of video will always be available on board the
Hawk cameras with their integral 20Gb wavelet hard drive
recorder which will store video images within the camera housing
irrespective of operator status.
If coms are lost for any reason or manpower resources do not
allow for continuous monitoring then the Hawk can record locally
in either time lapse or real time modes.
IMAGE
LOCK VIDEO SCRAMBLING

Using
the
from ComVision, all video transmissions are fully scrambled using
128 bit Cut
and Rotate Encryption methods thus preventing unauthorised
interception of sensitive video images by the public. The image
shown on the right is the scrambled view of the picture above,
this demonstrates the security that is integral to Hawk.
LONG
RANGE ANTENNAE

A
variety of alternative antennae can be utilised to improve range
and performance of the video and data transmitters allowing
operation of the cameras from up to several kilometres away. The
range includes omnidirectional, high gain arrays and automatic
diversity switches.
