The VT-SA-Vest is certified at level 5 cut resistance with the addition of semi-rigid cut resistant panels integrated into the vest. Front and back panels cover the shoulders and the front and back of the torso, these panels are integrated into the vest for added protection in these areas. The VT-SA-Vest does not contain the Saintfabric technology.
What is the EN388 standard?
EN388 is a European safety standard for gloves providing hand protection against mechanical risks. Even though the EN388 standard is not an Australian Standard, since its inception, it has become the benchmark in performance ratings for the glove manufacturing and safety clothing industry. This standard involves six specific tests that are designed to assess the performance of the fabric/layers.
